George 'Robert' Thompson
George "Robert" Thompson, beloved husband, dad, grampa/papa, brother-in-law, uncle and cousin, joined with the Colorado sunrise Aug. 27, 2013. Robert was 66 years old.
A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in O'Hair Funeral Chapel.
Robert was born in Lakeview, Ore., Feb. 8, 1947.
He was preceded in death by his father, George E. Thompson and his mother, Rhenda S. Lott; his first wife, Wanda "Wendy" Cogburn and son Robert C. Thompson.
Robert served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was discharged with honor in 1968.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela I. Thompson of Klamath Falls, Ore. He also is survived by daughter Heidi Thompson-Espinosa and grandchildren Noah Espinosa, Abigail Espinosa and Hannah Espinosa, all of Medford, Ore.; cousins Bill Reaves and Bob Reaves of Irrigon, Ore., step-daughters Miranda Danicourt and Veronica Danicourt, step-sons-in-law Benjamin Bowers and James Johnson; grandchildren Benjamin Bowers II, Matthew Bowers, Adrianna Murrell, and Aydon Johnson, all of Klamath Falls; brothers-in-law Daniel Fisher, Jim O'Toole, Joe Hardy and Will Sayer; sisters-in-law, and many, many, many more family and friends who loved him and will miss him so very much.
