Helen Cahill went to be with the Lord Nov. 29, 2013.
She was born Feb. 15, 1925, and grew up in Malin.
Helen attended Oregon State University and Western Washington University.
She was an avid snow and water skier, softball player, an excellent seamstress and cook.
Helen married Bob Cahill in 1953 and had five children. She dearly loved and was dedicated to her children and ranch life in Langell Valley. For seven years, she worked at the Weyerhaeuser mill in Bly, Ore.
She is survived by her children, Patrick Cahill, Nancy and Dennis Marley, Rosana Cahill, Mariana and Jay Peoples, and Ellen and Lee Pimental; sister, Marie Lane; grandchildren, Tim Cahill, Cathleen Cahill, Kynzie Sims, Tyler Marley, Travis Marley, Nicole Flanagan, Dannielle Pimental, and Samantha Pimental; great-grandchildren, Ethan Chandler and Kai Cahill.
Services will be in Davenport's Chapel of the Good Shepherd, 2680 Memorial Drive, at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013. A reception will follow.
