Maxine Summers/Moore
Maxine Faye Summers/Moore passed on to her Lord Jan. 2, 2014, in Medford, Ore., at age 89.
Maxine was born to Myrtle Farwell in Butte, Mont., May 30, 1924, and was adopted by Evelyn and James Winter and later reunited with her birth mother and two brothers.
She met her first husband, Delbert Summers in Butte, and they were married for 29 years and raised three children, Patricia Summers/Lindow, Joel Summers and Dana Summers/Sayler and had seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. After losing her first husband, she married Harold Moore.
She graduated from Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Ore., and pursued a teaching career in Oregon and Arizona.
She enjoyed visiting and spending time with her family members and many loving friends.
Survivors include her brother Glenn Fritzler and nieces and nephews in Montana and many new and old friends in Klamath Falls, Jacksonville and Arizona.
She was preceded in death by family members, Delbert Summers, Harold Moore, Myrtle Fritzler, Bud Fritzler, Evelyn and James Winter, Minnie Fritzler, Chuck Sayler and grandson, Todd Hyatt.
Private family services were held Jan. 4.
