Naomi Myra Baun(1914-2013)

Naomi Myra Baun was born on May 9, 1914, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to Charles Edward and Anna Marie Forrester Summers.
Naomi slipped away peacefully and quietly at the age of 98 to reunite her with her beloved husband William Harold Baun, who preceded her in death on June 14, 1987. Her son Barry Harold Baun, grandson William Eugene Putter and brothers Jack Woodrow Summers and Charles E. "Bud" Summers Jr. also preceded her in death.
She leaves behind her daughter Carol Ann Putter and son-in-law Edward Eugene Putter, 11 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, 50 great-great-grandchildren and good friends.
Naomi was a very private person. It was a joy to see her in her collection of hats, which she wore proudly. All who knew her, loved and enjoyed her. She had a great sense of humor and was very candid. Naomi was an avid shopper. She loved to spend hours in the stores looking at everything and reading all the labels. Hawaiian music was her favorite followed closely by standard gospel music. When she watched TV, you could be sure that it would be on a news channel.
Naomi, she insisted on being called "Naoma," will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Private graveside services will be at a later date in Punxsutawney, Pa., the town where her husband was born.
