Randall Ray Gallagher
Randall Ray Gallagher, 43, was born May 21, 1970, and went home to be with our creator on June 14, 2013, in Klamath Falls, Ore.
He began boxing when he was 8 years old. He excelled and loved the sport. In his teen years, he spent his time bull riding, which he enjoyed very much. Randy's natural talent for artwork allowed him to express himself. He was truly gifted and blessed with the ability to create beautiful art of many different variations. Randy also loved making and gifting loved ones with jewelry. His true passion was learning, teaching, and practicing his cultural ways and Native traditions. He took pride in passing down songs to our young ones. His children were the light of his life.
Randy is survived by his father Richard Tupper; wife Shasheena; children Randy and Talia Gallagher, Louie Wahl, Tia Gallagher, Jake Hatcher, Tianna Barkley, Kiiux Gallagher, and Lynzzan Gallagher; grandchildren Jada and Nevaeh Gallagher, Ozzie and Yonnie Gallagher and Ava June, Jaxton and Macy Hatcher, Nakai and Antonio Barkley.
Randy was preceded in death by his mother Janice Tupper, birth father Louis Gallagher, and sisters Yvette Gallagher and Deanne Norwest.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the Chiloquin, Ore., Big Gym. Concluding services will follow at Chief Schonchin Cemetery in Sprague River. The family requests this be a drug- and alcohol-free celebration of life. A luncheon celebrating his life will be in the Beatty Community Center. Davenport's Chapel of the Good Shepherd, 541-883-3458, is in charge of the arrangements.
