Bertie "Bea" Johnson, 91, went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 21, 2013.

A service of tribute and love will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Eternal Hills Chapel with Pastor David Kirby officiating. A reception and interment will follow Bea was born on Sept. 21, 1921, in Texas to Edward and Flora Fulcher McKnight. She grew up in Texas and married Carl Johnson on Feb. 22, 1939, in Wellington, Texas. He preceded her in death in 2011. They came to Tulelake, Calif., in 1955 and she worked in the Sunny State Potato sheds.
She enjoyed fishing at Gerber and Orr Lake, quilting, reading her Bible and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Tulelake Assembly of God.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Mary Steege of Redding, Calif., Pauline and David Thomas of Tulelake, and Carla and Norm Aldinger of Klamath Falls, Ore.; grandchildren Luke Steege, Rhonda Rodriguez, Tammy Munson, Johnny Thomas, Brian Thomas, Pam Thomas and Craig Aldinger; sister Dovie Chandler of Medford, Ore.; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Eternal Hills Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
