Betty Lee Hendricks was born on July 4, 1948, to Preston and WillaJ Mairel in Heavener, Okla. She passed away on July 29, 2012. Betty was 64.

A loving mother and wife, Betty is survived by her husband Jim Hendricks, two sons Dan Rimmer and Travis Roads, and daughter Evon Dean. Her six grandchildren are Tyler and Tayler Roads, Teal and Colby Rimmer, and Justice and Annabelle Dean. She is also survived by her brother Ed Mairel and four sisters Clourise Flemming, Judy Ramirez, Loretta Moore, and Patty
Betty was a businesswoman and entrepreneur with her latest venture being Mountain Village Park in Etna, Calif. She donated to many organizations that benefited her community and local school children. She never knew a stranger and was a loving friend to many. She was always willing to help others and would do without herself if it meant she would put a smile on someone else's face. She truly was the embodiment of a selfless lady.
A celebration of life is planned for Aug. 11, 2012, at 11 a.m. at 24 Dale Ave., Fort Jones, Calif.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lion Pride through Etna High School.
