Carolyn Domingos

Carolyn Domingos left us and went home to God on July 11, 2011.
She was born Jan. 14, 1947, in Star Valley, Wyo.
The fourth of 11 children, Carolyn was a blessing to her parents Rex and Lorraine Young.
She moved to Beatty, Ore., in 1974 and embarked on the adventure of working a 200-acre ranch at the end of the pavement on Godowa Springs Road.She worked as hard as she played, raising a garden, chickens, cows, and horses and moved handline irrigation on alfalfa fields and pasture.
She played softball and socialized endlessly with friends.
Carolyn always had small jobs for anyone needing a little money and loving advice for anyone who needed that, too.
In her last years, she was most truly happy with her husband Mike and loved her life on their property up on the Tableland.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her father Rex Young and her sister Gail Lancaster-Young.
She is survived by her mother Lorraine Young, her beloved husband Michael Domingos, daughters and sons-in-law Helen and Will Beachboard, Haley Pett and Josh Skouras, brothers Rex Young and Rick Young, sisters Kathy Wonacott, Bette Shlienker, Jeanne Smith, Patti Swanlund, Debbie Miller, Marilyn Warren and Penni Groote, grandchildren David Wood, Asia Potter, Misty Gravem, Natalie Pena and Delilah Skouras, great-grandchildren Jahslyn Wood-Vares and Ahnasia Mika, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends she loved like family.
At 2 p.m. on July 23, a celebration of life gathering will be held at the home of James Major, 29123 Spring Butte Drive in Beatty. Directions will be marked from Highway 140 East with butterflies and arrows.
