Chad Hanseth
Chad James Hanseth, 43, passed away Nov. 21, 2013, and is now with our Lord.
Chad was born June 24, 1970, in Seattle, Wash.
He graduated at Klamath Union High school in 1988. He then moved to Portland, where he began working in the construction industry. Returning home to Klamath Falls, in 1993, he met Cassie and Tanaya Young, later marrying Cassie in May 1996.
He enjoyed anything with an engine and wheels, especially while spending his time with his family and friends in Christmas Valley Sand Dunes. He loved tough trucking, winning many events for many years. He also loved his Subaru, making it into what suited his purpose.
He moved to Bly Mountain in December 2009, shortly after his daughter was born earlier that year. Being on the mountain opened his love to the forest and freedom to do almost whatever he wanted. He could ride anything, drink beer and help people.
Chad loved to make people laugh. He always made those around him feel good. He had a special glow when he told his stories, bringing all who heard them into this light and laughter. He deeply loved spending time with his two daughters and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Cassie L. Hanseth; daughters Tanaya and Addyson; grandchildren Taiven and Landyn; parents Lee and Janie Hanseth; brother Jeff and Crystal Hanseth; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and many, many friends who were very special to him.
A memorial service will be at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens at 1 p.m. Dec. 7, 2013. A tribute to life gathering will follow in Knights of Columbus Hall at 3 p.m.
