Cherrill Louise (Stafford) Ross went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Jan. 8, 2013, with family members by her side.

Cherrill was born in Klamath Falls on Oct. 7, 1941, to Joseph E. and Violet O. Stafford (Daniels).
She attended Mills Elementary School and graduated from Klamath Union High School in 1960.
In August 1960 she married William R. Trusty Jr. at Klamath Temple. Their son, David Trusty was born in September 1961 and son Mark Trusty was born in March 1968.
In 1972, they moved to Eugene, Ore., and later divorced in 1976. Cherrill moved with the boys to Anchorage, Alaska in 1976 and lived there until 1993 when she moved to Mississippi before moving back to Klamath Falls in 2000.
Cherrill worked in the medical field for over 20 years in Alaska and Mississippi, where she was a medical assistant and a thermography technician.
She married Richard L. Ross in the summer of 2002. He preceded her in death in 2012.
She loved spoiling her granddaughters and spending as much time as possible with them. She also loved Southern Gospel music, reading, camping and fishing, gardening, canning, and to travel. She loved planning family get-togethers and BBQs. She loved taking photographs; she always had a camera in her hand. She attended Faith Tabernacle and helped with Martha's Pantry. She was always taking care of her loved ones and ones in need.
Survivors include son William Mark Trusty of Klamath Falls and granddaughters Emma K. and Abbey K. Trusty of Klamath Falls; brother Terryll Stafford of Eugene; nieces Teresa and Valerie Stafford of Eugene; step-father "Papa" Fred Daniels of Klamath Falls; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph E. Stafford, mother Violet O. Daniels, son David A. Trusty, and husband, Richard L. Ross.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of High Desert Hospice and the nurses and doctors at Sky Lakes Medical Center and Cascades East.
A tribute of life service will take place at Faith Tabernacle in Klamath Falls at
10:30 a.m. Saturday. There will be a potluck immediately following the service. She will be laid to rest at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Cherrill's honor to your local cancer treatment centers.
