The Guest Book is expired.

Dewey M. Neill passed away Feb. 2, 2013. He was born Aug. 19, 1956 in Malin, Ore., and grew up in Merrill, Ore. Dewey graduated from Lost River High School. He went on to become the manager of Texaco convenience stores until he and his partner started a property management business.
Dewey continued with that business until he became disabled. He lived the remainder of his life with his partner and best friend, David Story. Dewey had two biological sons, Bruce Neil and Charlie Neil, and he also raised a nephew, Shaun Brockett. He opened his home to those who didn't have one or for those who needed to belong somewhere.
Dewey was an observer of his surroundings and could "read others" quite accurately. Most of the time, he was right in his assessment. He was quick to extend grace to someone and slow to anger. He was full of mercy and never held a grudge long.
He cherished his family, his dogs and "Wanda." Those who were close to him found it easy to love him back.
There are memories that we leave behind and Dewey's are many. He shared the things in life that are eternal and will echo in generations to come, his love.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Verbal Neill and Elna Neill and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is survived by his partner of 24 years, David Story, his two sons, Bruce Neill (Kristen) and Charlie Neill (Diana); his two sisters, Alice Corine Harvey and Patty Millett-Scott; and his six grandchildren: Kristin, Kayla, Annaalise, Elijah, Ian and Shealen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and family members.
There will be a memorial at Yesterdays Plaza, 2 p.m. March 9 in the Victorian room.
