Elsie Masterson, 77, of Klamath Falls, passed away Oct. 6, 2012, of natural causes.

A celebration of life service will be held at Klamath Assembly of God Church on Oct. 27, 2012, at 4 p.m.
Elsie was born at Nastatten Hospital in Germany to Henriette and Heinrich Blum. She was one of five children.
She came to the United States in 1957. She married Robert "Whitey" Masterson on April 21, 1963, in Reno, Nev. Together, with their two children Dessie and Robert, they resided in Klamath Falls.
Elsie worked at Molitore's Restaurant for 16 years followed by running multiple transportation businesses. For many years, she ran the snack bar at South Suburban Little League, where she was loved by all. Elsie had a passion for gardening, decorating and making flower arrangements. She also loved to host BBQs and dinners.
Survivors include her daughter Dessie Andress of Central Point; son Robert Masterson Jr. of Klamath Falls; grandchildren Sabrina Rios of Medford, Rickey VanGriethuysen and spouse Carrie of Central Point, Velvet Treasure of Klamath Falls, River Garton of Klamath Falls and Robert "Blaze" Masterson of Klamath Falls; great-grandchildren Cassie, Devin, Jesse, Kaysi, Savannah, McKenzie, and Kenzi; brother and sister-in-law Paul and Laney Blum of Germany; one niece and nephew of Germany; and special friends Susan and Jim Boyer and their children Tricia, April and Brad.
Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three brothers in Germany.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Klamath Humane Society & Animal Shelter. Elsie had an amazing passion for all animals.
