She was born on Oct. 13, 1913, in Cody, Wyo., to Harry and Edith Wiard. She had two brothers and three sisters, all predeceased. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, and plastic canvas artwork. She loved reading, especially mysteries and Christian romance stories.
She resided at Eldorado Heights Assisted Living at the time of her death and was a member of Living Faith Fellowship.
Nita is survived by her son Richard, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Klamath Hospice, 4745 S. Sixth St., Klamath Falls, OR 97603, or Friends of Wiard Park System, P.O. Box 1438, Klamath Falls, OR 97601.
