Peggy L. Willis slipped away peacefully Sunday, July 1, 2012, in St. Charles Medical Center in Bend, Ore., surrounded by loved ones.
She was born Feb. 8, 1927, and lived 80 of her 85 years in Klamath Falls.
In 1945, she met and married her handsome Marine, George Willis. They were married for over 50 years and had four children together.
Peggy was always happy tending her home, cooking, sewing and, most of all, dancing. She loved to get dressed up and go dancing and was fortunate that both the men in her life were excellent dancing partners. She had many friends and loved them all (you know who you are!). She treasured her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was so pleased to be part of their lives.
After she was widowed, she met Bill Barnett and they were together 13 years.
She is survived by her partner Bill, her sister Nancy Laswell, her brother Jerry Batman (Shirley), her daughters Sandra (Charlie) Day and Georgiana Severson, and her son Ronald Willis.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Georgia Jean Willis and her son Donald Willis.
There will be no services per Peggy's wishes.
"Goodbye Mama."
