Raymond Joseph Stalnaker went home to the creator March 2, 2014. He was born Nov. 10, 1943, in Walla Walla, Wash., to Clarence and Rozella Stalnaker. Soon after that, the family moved to Bonanza (Langell Valley). He married his beloved Dorothy L. Clark Stalnaker on Nov. 2, 1963, and they made their home in Klamath Falls, where they raised their two children. At a young age, he worked on a couple of ranches as a cowhand and later at Columbia Plywood. After 43 years of loyalty, he retired in April 2006. Ray enjoyed his retirement, camping with family, gardening and various other activities. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Kenneth and Mervin Stalnaker; sister, Rosemary Petersen; and son, Kenneth E. Stalnaker. Survivors include Dorothy L. Stalnaker, his loving wife of 50 years; daughter and son-in-law, Charlene Rajnus and John Larsen; grandchildren, Nathan and Nikki Rajnus; great-grandchild, Riley Rajnus; mother and father-in-law, Ken and Dorothy Clark; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Jennifer Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ray will be greatly missed by all who knew him and never forgotten by all who loved him.
