Sheila A. Merritt, 67, died in Klamath Falls, Ore., on Jan. 3, 2013.

A service of tribute and love will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, in Eternal Hills Chapel with Ernie Mathes officiating. A reception will follow. Cremation and inurnment will be held at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens.
Sheila was born on June 6, 1945, in Spokane, Wash., at Fairchild Air Force Base. She grew up in that area and Denver, Colo.
After meeting Donald Merritt at Dules Airport in Washington, D.C., both on their way back to Denver, they were married on Sept. 1, 1973, in Las Vegas, Nev. They moved in 1974 to Klamath Falls, where she worked at Walmart for 15 years.
She was a member of several bowling leagues in Klamath Falls and enjoyed trips to Reno, Medford and Eugene for tournaments.
Survivors include her husband Don; sons James Merritt and Donald Merritt Jr.; sister Becky Aceves of Littleton, Colo.; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Eternal Hills Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
