Trina Lynn Vasilis was born Oct. 23, 1964, in Klamath Falls, Ore.

Trina is survived by her mother Gloria Dawn Ike and dad Gary David Ike Sr.; brother Gary David Ike Jr.; son Aaron James; daughters Stephanie Ann and Jennifer Lynn; granddaughter Morgan Kailyn Vasilis; foster brothers Brian Esparza and Troy Davidson; aunts Shirley Wilkinson, Betty Wilkinson, and Shelly Cobb; uncles Stanley Davis and Herbert Cobb; and numerous cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father William David Cobb and grandparents Ella and Houston Davis, Jesse and Hazel Cobb, and Chester and Christine Ike.
Trina graduated from Klamath Union High School in 1982 and received her CNA Certificate from Klamath Community College. Trina practiced her CNA career until her death on Sept. 28, 2012.
Trina enjoyed viewing sci-fi movies and reading Stephen King books, beading, sewing, having company over, cooking, and caring for her cats and dogs, but most of all, as a single mother, she relished the time she shared with her children and granddaughter. She always cared for others more than herself. She was a mom to every kid in the neighborhood; her door was always open.
A service will be held in Davenport's Chapel of the Good Shepherd on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at 3 p.m.
