Evelyn Johnson Wolfram, 88, of Klamath Falls, Ore., passed away Jan. 23, 2014. She was born in Walhalla, N.D., Nov. 7, 1925 to Fred and Louise Carpenter. She married Stewart Johnson June 23, 1948. They moved to Klamath Falls in 1965 followed by a move in 1970 to Merrill, Ore. to own and operate the Merrill Dairy Café. She retired from the restaurant business a few years after the loss of her husband in 1975. Due to her love of baking she ran a licensed bakery from her home in Merrill. In 2006 she moved into Klamath Falls and was cared for by her son and daughter-in-law until the time of her death.
Evelyn is survived by son, Bernie and wife, Jean Johnson of Klamath Falls; son, Clayton Johnson of Racine, Wis.; daughter, Verna and husband, Gary Wright of Tulelake, Calif.; grandchildren Kerrie, Kristine, Leah, Troy, Jennifer, Lacey and Kelli as well as 11 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was husband, Stewart; son, Terry and daughter-in-laws, Diane and Sharon.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. at Eternal Hills Jan. 27, 2014.
