Dec. 15, 1931 - Feb. 19, 2014 Survived by wife, Mildred "Bonnie" Broyles; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and James White; daughter, Rebecca DeJesus; sister, Beth Payne; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A Korean War Veteran, Delbert served in the U.S. Navy for one enlistment, followed by a 30-year career with the United States Postal Service. Also holding several offices in the National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employees, Delbert continued civic service to the community after his USPS retirement. Delbert was preceded in death by Herbert Wesley Broyles; mother, Fern Rutledge; and father, Frank Broyles. A Memorial Service will be at 2:30 p.m. March 1, 2014 in the Merrill Assembly of God, Monroe Street, Merrill, Oregon.
