Susan Kay Otey (formerly Susan Kay Cox) went to be with our Lord May 18th, 2014, at the age of 52. She is survived by her daughter, mother and father, sister, and brother who love and miss her dearly. In her younger years, Sue was an expert skier, and skied at some of the best resorts in the country. She also pursued several other outdoors passions such as scuba diving and mountain climbing… even successfully scaling "El Capitan's" sheer rock face in Yosemite. Sue attended Hastings College in Nebraska, and excelled in executive administration and accounting roles following. Never shying away from a challenge, Sue believed there was no task too great once she put her mind to it. We remember Sue for her stunning beauty and glorious singing voice… especially when singing in church as a young woman. We remember Sue for several heartfelt poems she had written, and that were published over the years… some which we read in a private family ceremony when spreading her ashes this past Friday. Our Sue had a heart of gold that touched all that knew her with her generosity, and kindness. Last but not least, we remember Sue for her fantastic wit… and ability to make everyone laugh when telling a story. Sue, you were the best of all of us. We love you, and you'll always be in our hearts forever." Arrangements by Davenport's Chapel of the Good Shepherd, now located at 2680 Memorial Drive, Klamath Falls, OR 541-883-3458.
