He was born on Oct. 12, 1976, in Klamath Falls, Ore., to his father Donald "Duck" Weeks and his mother Diane Jackson.
Moone enjoyed camping at Rocky Ford, hunting and fishing, and playing and watching basketball. He was always willing to help family by mowing lawns or whatever needed to be done. Moone enjoyed spending time with all his aunties, uncles, cousins and the little ones who called him "Spoons" and will be remembered for making the rounds to spend time with everyone. You could set your clock to his arrival.
Moone went to school in Chiloquin, Ore., and then finished with college courses at Lane Community College in Eugene, Ore.
He is survived by his father (the man who raised him), Delmar Jackson; his mother, Diane and Ivan Jackson; daughter, Decole Wilson; brothers, Delmar Jackson, Monnie Weeks, all of Chiloquin, Donald Jr., and spouse, Rene Weeks and Byron Weeks, all of Washington; sisters, Ronna Jackson of Chiloquin, Shawna and Barbie Jackson of Warm Springs, Ore., and Dawnelle Weeks and Maranda Finkbonner, both of Bellingham, Wash.; aunts and uncles, Leon Weeks and Bonnie Whitehorse, both of Klamath Falls, Steve and Donna Weiser, Manny and Elaine Ochoa, Shari and Rod Travis, Sonny Henthorne, and Orthelia Nick David, all of Chiloquin, Debra and Jim Bland, Lawrence, Simon, and Faron Head, Thalia Head, Theda Hutchinson, and Laurie Jackson, all of Klamath Falls; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins, including a special cousin Regan Weiser, and special friends Mandy, Rena and Nancy Spicer.
Moone will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2010, beginning in Davenport's Chapel of the Good Shepherd with Uncle Steve Weiser officiating. Concluding graveside services will follow at Wilson Cemetery, Chiloquin. Davenport's Chapel of the Good Shepherd, directors, 541-883-3458, 6420 S. Sixth St., Klamath Falls, OR, is in charge of the arrangements.
