A mass of Christian burial will be held for Marvis Clare Bigby at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 4880 Bristol Ave., on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Rick Fischer celebrating. A luncheon reception will follow in the parish hall. Concluding services will be held at 1:15 p.m. in the Haven of Rest Mausoleum at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens. Visitation at Ward's Klamath Funeral Home, 1945 Main St., will be on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Mrs. Bigby, 87, died of natural causes in Klamath Falls, Ore., on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013. She was born on Feb. 21, 1925, in Casper, Wyo., to Edward George and Leona Mary (Barnes) Murphy. She was married to Alvin "Mack" Bigby in Reno, Nev. in 1964.
She worked in sales for Miller's Department Store for 18-1/2 years. She was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed fishing, music and dancing.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Leona and her husband Mack.
Survivors include her sister Bernice Oden of Klamath Falls, a cousin Juanita Herzel and her husband Bud of Boston, Mass., and friends Marian and Elmer Fuller of Myrtle Creek, Ore., Cheri and John Stribling of Shady Cove, Ore., Louise Miller, Ken and Joan Bigby, Theresa Foeller and Harold and Euphemia Lipe, all of Klamath Falls.
