Haddock, USAF Ret. Clovis - Schertz  
USAF (Ret) Col. Clovis C. Haddock died Sept. 17 in Schertz. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holmes-Coffey-Murray in Durant, Oklahoma. Jessie West will officiate. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Haddock, daughters, Debbie Wallis and Sena Mathues, and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the cancer research association of your choice.

Hardy, Joan M. - Denison  
DENISON - Joan M. Hardy died Monday at the Woodlands Place in Denison. A celebration of life will be held from 1-3 p.m. Sunday at Waterloo Lake Pavilion in Denison. She is survived by her children, son, Kenny Hardy of Reseda, California and daughter, Penny Williams of Denison. Arrangements are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home in Denison.

Helm Jr., Charles Ray - Sherman  
Also known as Chuck, CJ, Cowboy was born April 26, 1954 in Birmingham, Alabama. He died Sept 19, 2016 at his home in Whitewright Texas. Chuck's parents were Charles and Gloria Day Helm, and he moved to Sherman with his parents in 1968 where he achieved his dreams of being a real cowboy! He lived though a varied and colorful career as a cowboy, dying with his boots on. Chuck and Wanda Johnson had one son, Lee Helm who died in 1990. His parents preceded him in death. Chuck leaves behind one sibling, Donne Jo Hamilton (Sherman), and two nephews, Ken Hamilton (Copenhagen, NY) and Kit Hamilton, (Sherman) and close friend Mary Baker, Steve Newman, and Wanda and Duane Hoover. Chuck's memorial service will be held this Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 3 p.m. at The Refuge Church in Denison, Texas.

Hughes, Mary Jo - Durant  
DURANT, Okla. - Mary Jo Hughes, 90, of Durant, Oklahoma, died Sunday. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Cemetery Pavilion. Anthony Williams will officiate. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Hughes; daughter, Sherry Gandy; and five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Arrangements are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant.
