Charles Klivans

DENISON – Charles "Chuck" Klivans, 88, passed away Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013 at his home in Denison.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, 2013 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel with The Very Rev. Donald R. Perschall officiating.

Chuck was born Friday, April 10, 1925 in Chicago, Ill., the son of Martin Klivans and Rella Fletcher Klivans. He married Mayrene Wilson in Denison on April 17, 2003. He was an inventor/designer for Aero Space Corp. in California and liked model airplanes, sailplanes, bowling and roller blading. He was a loving husband and was of the Jewish faith.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Mayrene of Denison; son, Sanford E. Klivans and wife Jeanyce Marie of Canyon Country, Calif.; daughter, Cheryl D. Gill and husband David of San Pedro, Calif.; stepdaughters, Susan McDonald and husband Eddie of Sattler, Texas, Karen Salyer and husband Rick of Denison; brother Allyn D. Rothbard; and three grandchildren.

The family wishes to express special thanks to caregivers Deandra Milner and Pat Steward, and friend Phyllis Neely.
