DENISON - Hazel Marie Fritts, 71, left this world for a better place on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at her home in Denison, Texas.
Hazel Marie (Webb) Fritts was born June 7, 1941, the daughter of Sidney and Gladys (Stanley) Webb in Bells. She graduated from Bells High School and continued her education when she attended nursing school, which fit her personality perfectly as she was a very kindhearted person. She loved family time, Sunday drives, watching bull riding and team roping. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Denison. She worked for a time at Yellow Jacket Mini-Storage, but dedicated her career as a nurse to serving and helping people while working with Dr. Darius Maggi. She enjoyed her animals as well, especially Mama Cat and her horse Buddy. She worked hard up until the time that she was stricken with Bul-Bar Palsey, which caused her to lose her voice and eventually her life. Mrs. Fritts fought a good fight, she never complained, and she has left this world for a better place.
Mrs. Fritts is survived by her loving husband, R.K. Fritts of Denison; son, Ricky Don Hughes and wife Judy of Sherman; daughter, Rhonda Kay Crouse and husband Ronny of Denison; grandchildren, Jeremy Crouse and wife Allee, Travis Crouse and wife Bianca; great-grandchildren, Baylee, Riley, Natalie and Madison; brother, Sidney Webb and wife, Shirley of Tom Bean, Texas, Ernie Webb and wife, Linda of Kinefic, Okla., Kay Scott of Alabama, James, Mary, Grannie Dortha and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Home Hospice of Grayson, Cooke and Fannin, Heather Brown, Shelly Taylor, Kay Brewer, Sherry Newman, Mike Bacon, Roy Ross, and Wiley Fritts.
Mrs. Fritts was cremated according to her wishes. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2013 at Fisher Funeral Home with visitation following.
