POTTSBORO - James Carl Bearden, 41, entered into eternal life Wednesday, March 28, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mr. Bearden was born April 23, 1970 in Irving, the son of Ronnie and Ruth (Malone) Bearden. He married the love of his life, Beverly Kettrey April 16, 2004 in Sherman. James was a police officer
for 14 years, serving in Pottsboro, Sherman and Denison. He later went to work for B-Line where he was currently a supervisor. James enjoyed life with his family and friends. He fought cancer hard working and pushing himself until the end. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mr. Bearden is survived by his beloved family, wife, Beverly Bearden of Pottsboro; children, Zac Bearden of Sherman, Stormie Bearden of Pottsboro, Shawn Hoffman of Dallas, Kayla Hoffman and husband Danny Guerrero of Carrollton, Kristen Hoffman and Keri Hoffman both of Pottsboro; grandchildren, Hayden Hoffman and Levi Guerrero both of Carrollton; mother, Ruth Mussaw and husband Frank, of Sherman; and father, Ronnie Bearden and wife Betty of Sherman.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Roger Speers officiating.
