SHERMAN – Marcia Kathryn Rolbiecki passed away Monday, June 24, 2013, at her home in Sherman. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Thursday, June 27 at 10 a.m. Fr. Jeremy Myers and Fr. Tony Aureus will officiate.
Marcia was born Oct. 30, 1933, at Deer River, Minn., to Milton K. Wolfe and Regina Roses Wolfe. She married Jerome Rolbiecki in 1954 and spent 23 years as an Air Force wife. They moved to Sherman in 1968, where Marcia worked as a Texas Realtor and owned and operated O'Fiddlesticks Kitchen & Specialty Store. She also served as Director of the Red River Historical Museum until her retirement in 2011.
She is survived by her son, Jerome and wife Vicki of Bellingham, Wash.; daughter, Kristi D'Anna of Sherman; son, David and wife Nanci of Austin; grandson, Travis and wife Elizabeth; and great-granddaughter, London of Anna; granddaughter, Abigail of Columbus, Mo.; and brother, Robert and wife Marideanne of Orando, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Milton; grandson, Thor Rolbiecki; and the father of her children, Jerome R. Rolbiecki.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Mary's Catholic Parish in Sherman.
