Paul Waldrum(1941-2012)

SAVOY - Paul E. Waldrum, 71, of Savoy passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. He was born on Sept. 18, 1941 in Ravenna to Arthur J. and Viola C. Waldrum.

Paul is survived by his wife, Billie J. Waldrum; sister, Dorothy Jean Thomas of Denison; seven children; four nephews, one niece, an abundance of grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

He was a hero to all, willing to extend a hand to anyone in need. His wish to help others extended past death; he requested that his body be donated to science to assist in medical research. He was a Firefighter/EMT for 27 years with the Sherman Fire Department. He also held down numerous part-time jobs as a salesman, real estate agent, veterinarian tech, and electrician's helper just to name a few. He will be greatly missed!

A memorial service will be held from 11 -3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at the First Baptist Church, located at 105 S. Pecan in Bells. Bro. Billy Neal Jr. will be officiating. All are invited for a fellowship meal following the memorial service.
