Stanley Orville Haas
This is a story about a man that was a little like John Wayne, a little like Johnny Cash, and a little like Tom Landry but all at the same time, and still very unique. He was patient, he was calm and he had a quiet confidence about him. He was a strong man and although his strength was rarely displayed, it was never questioned and was clearly understood. As a Deputy Sheriff, these traits were essential. His wisdom was unparalleled and shared through a captivating story, usually while relaxing and sipping a large glass of iced tea. He had faith in his heart, a song in his soul and a sense of humor that could make anyone smile. Although his presence affected many lives, I would like to mention a few: Great-Great-grand Child: Caden, Great-grand Children: Christopher and his wife Ashley, Savannah, Micah, Denali, Katlyn, Jacob, Marissa, Taylor and Colby. Grand Children: Brent and wife Dawna, Jim and wife Bridget, Brandi and husband Gary, Daughters: Carol and Rita and her husband Ron. This does not even begin to tell his story, for that you need to talk to someone mentioned above for his story, which lives on in each one of us.
