DENISON - Vivian Louise "Nannie" Baker, 84, slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center.
Mrs. Baker was born December 28, 1928 in Johnson City, Tenn., the daughter of Jesse and Sudie May (Graybill) Birchfield Sr. Nannie married the love of her life Albert Charles Baker. She worked for more than 15 years for J.C. Penney before retiring. Nannie loved the Lord and her family; she was a kind and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Baker is survived by her beloved family, daughter, Deborah Judd of Sherman; grandchildren, Joe Judd and wife Ashley of McKinney, Jamie Reece and husband Jason of Houston, and Julie Prater and husband Luke of St. Paul; three great-grandchildren, Bowen Judd, Cali Reece, Cooper Reece and two on the way; brother, Jesse Birchfield of Elizabethton, Tenn., numerous nieces and nephews, and dear friend, Ceann Lundin. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert D.L. Birchfield; sister, Doris Lawrence; husband, Albert Charles Baker; and beloved son, Wesley Baker.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Fairview Chapel in Fairview Cemetery with Chaplain Ross Prater officiating. Family visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2013 at Fisher Funeral Home.
