while working for American Optical in the Commercial Building. Married January 26, 1943, Zerma Lea and Redellium celebrated their sixty-ninth wedding anniversary this year.

Zerma Lea retired from the Grayson County Tax office in 1982 and then went on to Grayson County College and earned her real estate license. She worked as a realtor in the family business, Atnip and Associates.

As a working wife and mother, Zerma Lea never let working stop her from serving as a scout leader, room mother for her children in school, or being active in her church with her family serving as a Sunday school teacher and choir member. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family and faith above everything.
