HOWE - Barry Lynn Moore, age 54, passed away August 4, 2014. Visitation will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Howe, funeral services will follow at 11am. Brother Roger Tidwell will officiate. Burial will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Laurel Land Memorial Park in the Court of Memories, Dallas, Texas.|
Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, Texas.
Barry was born to T.E. Moore and Helen (Adams) Moore-Thomas in Dallas on July 18, 1960. He enjoyed wind surfing, playing the trombone, guns and shooting, as well as singing in the choir. Barry was a member of the First Baptist Church of Howe. He worked as a contract computer analyst. He was a graduate of Justin F. Kimball High School class of 1978 and attended the University of Texas of Arlington.
Barry is survived by his mother, Helen Thomas of Howe; aunt Virginia Strickland and husband Gene of Dallas; uncle Cecil Moore and wife Sharon of Desota; uncle Don Moore and wife Geri of Bryan, Texas; numerous cousins and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his father, T.E. Moore; and a brother, Stephen Glenn Moore.
