Clinton Loyd Reeves was born November 18, 1945 in Cartwright, Oklahoma; the son of Shirley and Addie (Bamburg) Reeves. Clint married Sandra Hoover in 1961, and he shortly after joined the U.S. Army. He dedicated much of his adult life to serving our country. He was a highly decorated soldier who reached the rank of 1st Sergeant before his retirement in 1987; and he earned medals such as three Bronze Service Stars, Meritorious Service Medal and the Army Commendation Medal, including many others. After his military retirement he worked at the Denison Dam, and then at the Kerr Lock and Dam for 17 total years. Along with his military service, Mr. Reeves prided himself in his work with the Sallisaw Masonic Lodge #120 where he was a 32nd degree Master Mason. After the passing of his late wife, Clint married Glenda (Boaz) Hemphill on August 6, 2009 and their two families became one. Above all of his accomplishments in life, Mr. Reeves prided himself in his family and close friends. Clint loved to hunt and fish, he was an avid gun collector, and he enjoyed restoring cars; but nothing surpassed his love for his family.

Mr. Reeves is survived by his loving family, wife, Glenda Reeves of Sherman, TX, four children, Deborah Pierce and husband, Mike of Phoenix, AZ, Ronnie Reeves and wife, Elizabeth of Denison, TX, Brian Hemphill of Cedar Hill, TX, and Kristi Sutton and husband, Chad of Venus, TX; ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two brothers, James Reeves and Ricky Reeves and wife, Elda both of Denison, TX, two sisters, Jewell Shindler of Lancaster, TX, and Shirley Shindler of Denison, TX, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra Reeves, parents, brother, Roger Reeves, daughter-in-law, Shannon Hemphill, and one great-grandson, Lane Burnett.

A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014 at River Point Assembly of God in Denison with Rev. Herlin Summers officiating. A Graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2014 at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, TX. with Pastor Joel Ferguson Officiating.
