Cynthia Towers Obituary
VAN ALSTYNE - Cynthia Jean Hollenbeck Towers, age 50, of Van Alstyne passed away, peacefully with her family beside her, at 4:25 p.m., on March 10, 2014, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, after a long series of illnesses.

Cynthia was born February 18th 1964 in Durham, N.C. to William and Phyllis Hollenbeck. Cynthia graduated from Van Alstyne High School. Cynthia received a Bachelors degree from Bradford College. Cynthia was employed as an Accountant/Office Manager for nearly 20 years for companies such as Tandy, University of Texas at Arlington, and American Airlines. She had been a member of the Friends of the Van Alstyne Library, and a charter member of the South Grayson Republican Club. Her Mother and Father preceded Cynthia in death.

She is survived by her husband, Robert, and her four daughters, Lauren Triplett and husband Marc; Lauren Zinn and husband Chris; Catherine; and Jennifer; three grandchildren; her brother Dennis Hollenbeck and his wife Beverly; Aunt and Uncle Loretta and Ralph Hollenbeck.

A memorial service will be held for Cynthia at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 401 S. Crockett St. in Sherman at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 20th.

It was the location of one of her happiest days, her marriage to Robert on St. Valentine's Day, 1988. Her friends and associates are cordially invited to attend and participate. No family visitation or viewing will be held.
