Dallas retired in 1993 after working 36 years for the East Ohio Gas Company. Upon retirement, Dallas, Patricia and their youngest daughter moved to Sherman, Texas.

Butler of Green, Ohio; as well as many nieces, nephews and 'grandchildren of the heart.'
Until the Lord called him Home, Dallas was incredibly active and could be found busy in his woodshop among many projects and piles of sawdust. He was active in the Sherman FFA Booster Club from 1993 to 1997. Dallas was an avid Sherman Bearcat fan and attended almost every home game since moving to Sherman in the early 1990s.
He was often seen on his front porch with his beloved dog, Mr. Marley. Those who have had the honor of getting to know him could say, "he never knew a stranger." He will be missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be honored by memorial donations to Home Hospice of Grayson County at 505 W. Center St., Sherman, TX (75090), or online at www.homehospice.org.
