COLLINSVILLE – Funeral services for Jacqulyn Ann "Jackie" Walker, 43, will be held Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Collinsville, Texas with Rev. Keith Byrom and Roger Braziel officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Collinsville Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Visitation will be from 6 -8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30 at the funeral home.|
She passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012 in Dallas.
Jackie was born on Oct. 7, 1969 to Jackie Donnell Walker and Ann Yvonne (Black) Pafford in Sherman, Texas. She has worked for the Grayson County Sheriff Association for the past 17 years. Prior to that, she was employed as a butcher for Hilltop Foods in Collinsville. She also volunteered for the Collinsville Volunteer Fire Department. Jackie loved being outdoors. She enjoyed fishing, camping and horseshoeing. She was an avid reader and loved to work puzzles. Jackie has a great smile, a big heart, and was loved by everyone. She would do anything for anybody. Her favorite thing to say to her friends and family was "catch a breath."
She is survived by her life partner, Sheila Rathfon, of Collinsville; mother, Ann Pafford, and husband Gary of Collinsville; father, Jackie Walker, and wife Louise of Sherman; sister, Vonda Sauceman, and husband Ron of Collinsville; brother, Shannon Walker, of Collinsville; step-brothers, Chris Ball of Tennessee; Scott Ball of Melissa, and Adam Ball of San Antonio; nephews: Tanner and Reid Sauceman; niece, Harlee Walker; grandmother, Ludene Black, of Collinsville; and step-grandmother, Thelma Jones, of Tom Bean; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Norman Black; and grandparents: Perry and Lois Walker; and Larry Rathfon.
