BONHAM - Memorial services with military honors for Jimmy Dale Dophied, 67, of Bonham will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham. Chaplain Leon Haas will officiate the service and military honors will be rendered by United States Army Honor Guard. Mr. Dophied went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 10, 2013 with his loving family by his side.

Jimmy Dale Dophied was born on Jan. 24, 1946 in Terral, Okla. to Fredy Joseph and Ida C. (Howard) Dophied. He married Diane Eldora (Jones) Dophied on Sept. 29, 2007 in Dallas, Texas. Jimmy served in the United States Army from Oct. 20, 1964 to July 22, 1967. He served in the Vietnam War, retired from the Dallas VA hospital in 2007 where he was a medical clerk, was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is survived by wife, Diane Dophied; sons, Greg Dophied and wife Michelle of Celina, and David Dophied and wife Kelley of Frisco; mother, Ida Dophied of Savoy; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Jacqueline Stephens and husband Doug, Julie Brown and husband Archie, Sarah Howard, Bonnie Tucker, and Donna Cannon and husband Roger. He is preceded in death by his father; and sisters, Betty and Helen.
No formal visitation will be held.
