POTTSBORO - Randolph David Talley, 52, went home peacefully to be with The Lord Jesus Christ Friday, May 24, 2013, at his property, in Pottsboro.|
Randolph Talley was born September 27, 1960, on the Kadena Air Force base in Naha, Okinawa, Japan. He was the youngest of four boys born to Walter and LaUna (Parker) Talley. Randy attended and graduated from Denison High School before furthering his education by first receiving his bachelor's degree from the University of Texas in Engineering and later earning his M.B.A. in Business Management from the University of Dallas.
Randy married the love of his life, Carol Bishop, on November 7, 1987, in Fort Worth Texas. Randy worked at Lockheed Martin as a Senior Project Manager, and prided himself on his work contracting the F16 and F35 fighter jets. Randy was baptized and grew in his Christian faith through the years. Randy and Carol raised two young men through their marriage and they passionately loved spending time in the outdoors together. His passion was found in hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, riding four wheelers, through his time in the air as he was a pilot himself, and immensely enjoyed spending time on his property. Randy is loved beyond measure, and will be missed by those who know and love him.
Randy Talley is survived by his loving family, beloved wife of 25 years, Carol Talley; two sons, Kyle Talley and Cody Talley; mother, LaUna Talley; three brothers, Dennis Talley and wife Beverly, Gary Talley and wife Susan, Phillip Talley and wife Angela; thirteen nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Talley.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at the Fisher Funeral Chapel with his brother Phillip Talley officiating. A visitation time will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers: sons Kyle Talley and Cody Talley, brothers Dennis Talley, Gary Talley, and Phillip Talley, Randy Taylor, Dennis Montgomery and Tom Wahl.
