T.C. Coffey Obituary
DENISON - Mr. T. C. Coffey, 81, of Denison passed away on May 23, 2013 at his residence in Denison. He was born to Tandy C. Coffey and Mary Elizabeth Smith on September 18, 1931 in Voss, Coleman County. He has been a resident of Grayson County the past 43 years.

Mr. Coffey served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1971 with a rank of T/SGT when he retired. He was a Vietnam war veteran.

He was a heat and air conditioning technician and was a long time owner of his Heating and A/C Company. Mr. Coffey was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He also served on the Grayson County Advisory Committee. He loved playing golf, fishing, hunting and loved helping people. He was a member of the Hyde Park Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Coffey married Jo Ann Campbell on October 13, 2007, who survives him.

Mr. Coffey was married to Constance Ann Finney on October 11, 1952 in Cheshire, England and divorced on August 7, 2007. There were 3 children from this marriage.

Other family survivors are his children, Edwin "Wayne" Coffey and Genia of Lindale, Ronald David Coffey, Denison, Ellen Louise Carter, Denison; and a stepson, Josh Reinert and Beth of Denison. His grandchildren are Christy Jane, Thomas Craig, Riley Olivia, Jacob Randall, Edwin Wayne, Jeremy David, Lindsey Denise, Lance, Trevor Kent and Preston Cole. There are 12 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and sisters, Jimmy Dale Coffey, William L. Coffey, Cecil Elizabeth and Mary Eirys.

The family scheduled a visitation for Friday, May 24, 2013, from 6-7 p.m. at the American Funeral Services.

Funeral services were scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013 at American Funeral Services Chapel, 4312 W. Crawford St. Denison, with Reverend Ron Cunningham officiating.
