KINGSTON, Okla. - Carl Henry, 91 of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the hospital in Durant, Oklahoma. Carl was born on February 26, 1923 in Woodville, Oklahoma to the late Herbert William Henry and Lola Davis Henry. Carl was raised in Woodville and graduated from Woodville High School. He joined the Air Force. On May 9, 1942 Carl married Marie Bon Hainline at Kingston, Oklahoma. Marie preceeded him in death on December 30, 2009 He moved to Denison, Texas where he worked and later became the owner of an auto mechanic shop. Carl retired after 50 years of being a mechanic and moved back to the Woodville area in 1990. Carl enjoyed working on old cars and visiting with area nursing home residents. He was a member of the Masons and the VFW.|
He is survived by: special daughter: Jodi Kaplan, Germany; sister: Earline Ritchey, Denison, Texas; brother in-law and sister in-law: Therman Hainline and Jackie, Madill, Okla.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marie; two brothers, Paul Henry and HW Henry and 1 sister, Wanda June King.
Services will be Saturday, August 9, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Lighthouse Methodist Church in Alberta Creek (Kingston), Oklahoma. Terry Thomas will officiate the services.
Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma.
