Dorothy Lee Harris Obituary
DENISON – Dorothy Lee Harris of Denison slipped quietly away to be with her Lord on Wednesday, December 4, 2013.

She was born January 10, 1924 to Joseph Clemons and Hattie Mae Perry of Rice. She was married 74 years October 7 to Rev. Albert Harris. She was a housewife who wore many hats over the years, among those of loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, pastor's wife, youth group assistant, and a bookkeeper.

She had a delightful sense of humor and kept written records of events and funny stories. She loved crocheting, sewing, reading and word finds.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Clemon and Hattie Mae Perry; two daughters, Joan Martin and Nancy Sue Harris; two grandchildren, J. B. Cabler and Todd Phelps; great-grandchild, Sebastian Speir and daughter-in-law,Reda Harris; three brothers, Richard, Bootsie, and Willie Clyde Perry; two sisters, Maggie Mae and Patricia Perry.

She is survived by husband, Rev. Albert F. Harris; her daughter, Shirley Cabler and husband Don of Memphis, Texas; son, Harvey Harris and wife Vicki of Fort Worth; son-in-law, Mike Martin of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren, Debbie Phelps, Rodney Harris and wife Kelli, Dana Venable and husband Richard, Sharon Martin, Christe Speir and husband Yancey, Brett Pierce and wife Joanie, Melody Cabler, Don Cabler; 16 grandchildren; two brothers, Gene Perry and wife Beulah, J.C. Perry and wife Debbie; two sisters, Pam Gray and Wanda Byrd.

Visitation will be 7 -9 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2013 at Bratcher Funeral Home.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Brown Trail Gospel Assembly, 211 Brown Trail, Hurst, TX 76053.
