One of Eddie's joys in life was farming and ranching. This was his way of life and his heaven on earth. He loved his church family at Mt. Carmel Baptist where he was a member for 65 years and a deacon since August 1960. Over the years Eddie served as song leader, Sunday school superintendent, Sunday school teacher, and preached when called upon. Eddie loved to sing and loved to hear good singing.
