Obituary Condolences

DENISON - Epefania (Fanny) M. McCullar, 74, went peacefully into the arms of Jesus Thursday, March 21, 2013.

Mrs. McCullar was born July 14, 1938 in Daanbantayan, Cebu, Philippines, the daughter of Pedro and Juana (Mesa) Maloloy-on. She married the love of her life, Herschel Loyd McCullar Sr., May 29, 1968 and shared in over 40 years of marriage. Epefania loved spending time with her family who consider her to be the BEST mother, grandmother and friend. She was one of the most hospitable people that you could ever meet and it was nearly impossible to leave her home with an empty stomach. Mrs. McCullar was a hard working woman who retired from T.I. / MEMC after 20 + years of dedicated employment, but she also who knew how to have fun and enjoyed cooking for all of her family and friends. Epefania will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. McCullar is survived by her beloved family, son, Herschel McCullar Jr. of Denison, Texas; daughters, Elizabeth Douglas and husband, Stephen, their children, Justin, Kristina, Josh, Atlanta, Clayton and Katie-Lynn of Denison, Texas; Peggy Nation-McCullar and her children, Tiffney, Tayler, Tobie Lynn and Tracee; Diana Chaplin and husband, Byron, their children, Brianna, Summer and Violet; Dina Jester and husband, Donnie, their children, Ashley, Angela, Michael and Jeremy of TN; two great-grandsons, Tucker Jay and Brycen; and six siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Herschel McCullar Sr, and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Fisher Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Fisher Funeral Home.
