DENISON - On Friday morning, Nov. 16, God called Gage Gordy to become one of his shining stars.
The Guest Book is expired.
Gage Lawson Gordy came into this world on Aug. 17, 2011 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas, the son of Lyndsi Lowing and Clay Gordy of Denison, Texas. He moved on much too quickly for our older and wiser minds to comprehend; setting forth in the wee hours of Nov. 16, 2012 at Texoma Medical Center, to eternally shine in Heaven.
In that brief miracle visit, he was a joy to everyone he knew, and touched more than he could have imagined. A beaming bright personality, topped with a cherry, all outshone by a full-size smile. He garnered a great deal of attention in those few days, and as if by design, he filled every single one of those days with as much as those 24 hours could handle. He will be missed sorely by all. But he should always be remembered with a smile.
Gage leaves at home his parents, Lyndsi Lowing and Clay Gordy; his two brothers, Jacob and Cade Gordy; grandparents, Steve and Anna Lowing of Denison, and Carla Lowing of Idabel, Okla., Frankie Blass of Denison; great-grandparents, Frank and Margie Lowing of Denison; Beth Largin of Idabel, Okla.; aunts and uncles, Lauren and Kevin Hempkins, Lacie and Marshall Giasson, Charlie Pecor and Mia Gordy, all of Denison, Matt and Christy Lowing of Tom Bean; and Alyssa and Jacob Joseph of Ardmore, Okla., J.P. Wilson of Denison, and Marc & Tara Wilson of Germany; great-aunt, Conni Largin and Richard Chapman of Oklahoma City; and two great-uncles and spouses, Bruce and J'Ainene Lowing of Van Alstyne, Hank and Kim Largin of Ocoee, Fla.; abundant cousins and friends and acquaintances.
Preceding Gage in death were his great-granddaddy, Doug Largin; and great-grandmother Dora Vanestte.
Family visitation will be held from 6 -8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19 at Fisher Funeral Home, 604 W. Main, Denison.
