DENISON – Ida Lee DeLashaw, 70, passed away Monday, October 20, 2014 in Plano, Texas
Visitation will be at 7 p.m., Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Central church of Christ in Denison.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 24, 2014 at Central church of Christ. Burial will follow at Kemp Cemetery in Kemp, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be Randy Hackworth, Brian Hackworth, Mark Duckworth, Chris Hackworth, Brad LeDane and Jordan LeDane.
Ida was born on Sunday, August 20, 1944 in Liberty, Oklahoma, the daughter of William N. Taylor and Mandy Blankenship Taylor. She married Ronnie DeLashaw in Durant on August 2, 1963 and he preceded her in death on April 13, 2008.
She worked as a bank teller for what is now Chase Bank for many years. She loved to read, work outdoors, and spend time with her grandchildren.
Ida is survived by her son Chris DeLashaw & wife Bonny of Denison; daughter Kim Nicholson & husband Bobby of Frisco; sister Frances Rice of Odessa; brother Donald Taylor & wife Kareene of Kerrville; brother Leon Taylor of Denison; brother William Taylor & wife Barbara of Denison; brother Kenneth Taylor & wife Bonnie of Liberty, Oklahoma; sister LaWanda Duckworth & husband Bill of Cartwright, Oklahoma; sister Marilyn Mitchell & husband Jim of Denison; grandchildren Stephanie Bradley & husband Ben, Jacob DeLashaw; Ashlee & Paige Nicholson; great granddaughter Danielle Bradley.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ronnie, 3 brothers, 5 sisters and great-granddaughter Mazie Bradley.

I have missed Ida at the bank as we always were catching up, and talking about the days we worked together. Ida was such a wonderful friend. Prayers go to family for your loss, as know you will miss her.
