Jackie Marie Marlow Abernathy Reppond, 66, was greeted at Heaven's Door by God our Father on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. She was a warrior, fighting breast cancer for the last year and a half. She passed peacefully with her loving husband and daughters by her side. Her service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, at Grayson Bible Baptist Church in Sherman, Texas, with Bro. Roy Webster officiating. She will be laid to rest immediately following the service at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.|
Jackie was born on June 30, 1946 to Lillie Mae and Gordon Marlow in Dallas, Texas where she lived throughout her childhood and teenage years. Jackie married T. Weldon Reppond on Aug. 14, 1993 in Wilmer, Texas.
She was preceded in life by four siblings, William Glen, Jim, Sue, Kenneth Wayne and preceded in death by her parents and all siblings except for her brother Jim.
Throughout the many jobs she had through the years, the one she loved the most was being a Teacher's Aide at Howe ISD. She loved being around children and in return, was given much love by those children.
She was an active member of the Baptist churches she joined during her life. There is nothing she loved more than the Lord. She was a bright light burning for God. Friend to many, Beloved by all.
She is survived by her husband T. Weldon Reppond, of Sherman, two loving daughters Kathy and her husband, Charlie Jenkins of Bells and Karen and her husband Scott McCoy of Sherman. She has four treasured grandchildren Dylan, Rebecca, Dalton and Brendan. She always said if she could have been a grandmother first, she would have.
God's choir is full today, Jackie's voice soaring above the rest. She is made new and will never suffer again.
