James Lansford Obituary
Doug was born January 17, 1921 near Ladonia, the son of Robert Wesley and Annie Terry Lansford. He married Wanda Jean Short on September 26, 1952 in Durant, Okla.
Doug retired as a gasoline transport driver for Chapman Inc. in 1979 after many years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bells.
Surviving Doug are his wife, Jean of Bells; son, Jeffrey Lansford of Van Alstyne; daughter, Terrie Weaver and her husband Daniel of Callisburg; brother, Vernon Lansford of Bells; 11 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. His parents, son Jimmy Lansford, daughter Ann Pearl, granddaughter DeAnn Pearl, three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
The family will receive friends from 7 -8 p.m. Wednesday at Mullican-Little Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Doug's name to the Building Fund, First Baptist Church, 121 S. Pecan St., Bells, TX 75414
