For Mrs. Ray and her daughters - I am one of the many people Bro. Ray led to Christ. He and I prayed in his study at First Baptist Church of Borger in 1964 and he baptized me the following Sunday. He later led my brother to the Lord and baptized him as well. All my memories of Bro. Ray are of him happy and animated (such as when he sang "Deep and Wide" during VBS!). Mrs. Ray, you patiently taught me piano in the parsonage and were always a quiet, loving wife and mother. I was sad for your family when I learned of Bro. Ray's passing, but of course you all look forward to praising God with him in the future. He was a lovely, gentle, caring man. God bless your family.

Dear Father,
You took our brother Joe Dee home the other night. I'm going to miss him. Mostly, I'm going to miss his voice. In his voice, I heard Your voice sharing Your love for us all. I'm going to miss hearing his voice singing Your praises. When I get "home", after I've heard Your voice and the voices of my loved ones, I want to hear my brother Joe Dee singing Your praises once again. That's how I'll know I'm home. My thoughts and prayers are with his family as they miss his voice even more than I do. Karen Harrington
