DENISON - Judith (Judy) Elaine Teel was born on May 27, 1946 in Denison, Texas to Jack and Lillie Allen and passed from this life on May 4, 2014 at the age of 67. She was married for 46 years to Clifford (Bub) Teel of Denison.|
Judy attended Denison H.S. and then went on to become a housewife and mother. Her professional caree began at Varo, Inc. in Garland, Texas. She then went to work at Richland College as the manager of Non-Credit Registration until she retired in 1995. She and her husband then relocated to Denison where she began working as the store manager of Hart Place Mall until she retired again 2010.
Judy never met a stranger. She had an outgoing personality and infectious laugh. She was loved by all who knew her, including every stray animal on her block. She loved collecting Jewel T and cameos, having her whole family together for the holidays and cooking Sunday morning breakfast.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, brother Billy Jack Allen and sister Virginia Wilkerson.
She is survived by two siblings, brother, Tommy Allen of Texarkana and sister, Brenda Anderson of Denison, her husband, Clifford, daughters, Torri Teel of Euless, Texas, Wendy Godfrey and husband Bill of Garland, Texas, sons, Craig Payne and wife Ampy of New Braunfels, Texas and Trey Teel of Snyder, Texas and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, May 10 at 2 p.m. with a family visitation at 1 p.m. at American Funeral Services in Denison, Texas. Judge Horace Groff will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations to SPCA of Texas.
