Leslie was born Sept. 21, 1985 in Denison, Texas, to Mark and Yvonne Kost. She married Brice Cates on April 20, 2010 in Action, Texas.
She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother who created a Wonderful, Loving home life which was surrounded by laughter and smiles with her husband Brice and daughter Iris Evelynn. Leslie enjoyed singing especially the nite-nite song about lollipops and unicorns she sang each night as she held her daughter tightly until she fell to sleep. She also loved bright happy colors, taking walks, watching for shooting stars, then making a wish. Leslie loved picnics with her family, and being a supportive Army wife. Leslie was the kind of person who never forgot to say "I Love You," she could find sunshine on a rainy day. The joy of her life was her daughter Iris Evelynn and her husband Brice. God was blessed with another Angel and the world is weeping with her passing. We Love you Babygirl!
Leslie is survived by her husband; Brice Cates of Harker Heights; daughter, Iris Evelynn Burton of Harker Heights; mother and father, Mark and Yvonne Kost of Howe; brother, Adam Kost of Durant, Okla.; grandparents, Les and Ginger Coffman of Pottsboro; mother in law, Heather Cates of Weatherford; father in law, Doug Younger of Weatherford.
